Requirements: l A three-year degree in Social Science, Law or Research Methods l Research experience is essential l Research background and work in a policy environment l Good report-writing skills l A good understanding of the policing environment l Computer competency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, spreadsheets and PowerPoint) l A valid driver’s licence. Duties: l Conduct primary research for all policing policy projects in the Secretariat l Support the policing research network with academics, reference group members and civil society l Write and collate research reports, policy briefs and analyse data l Monitor the crime stats for trends, policy gaps and new developments l Analyse research data and report on new trends in the policing practice and crime statistics l Perform any other duties directed by the Deputy Director.
